StackWizard Privacy Policy

1. Data Storage (On-Device)

StackWizard uses Apple's SwiftData framework to store your poker sessions, bankroll history, and hand notes. This data is stored locally on your device only.

• We do not store your session data on any server.
• If you delete the app, your local data will be permanently deleted unless backed up to your personal iCloud account.

2. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

To provide hand analysis, StackWizard sends your hand descriptions to our backend server (hosted on Vercel) which forwards them to the Anthropic API (Claude AI) for processing.

• What is sent: Only the specific hand descriptions or text you submit for analysis are transmitted.
• Anonymous device identifier: An anonymous, Apple-generated vendor identifier (IDFV) is sent alongside each request solely for rate limiting purposes. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information, and is not stored by us.
• No personal identifiers: We do not programmatically send your name, email, or contact information to any third-party service. However, any personal information you voluntarily include in a hand description will be transmitted for processing.
• Vercel: Our backend is hosted on Vercel. Hand descriptions pass through Vercel's infrastructure in transit but are not stored there. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic: Data sent via the Anthropic API is processed according to their commercial terms. API data is typically not used to train their models, but we encourage you to review the Anthropic Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

StackWizard does not collect or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or contact information.
• Your precise or approximate location.
• Your bankroll specifics or individual session results.
• Any data for advertising or tracking purposes.

4. Apple App Store & Subscriptions

All payments are processed exclusively through Apple. StackWizard receives an anonymous subscriber identifier from Apple solely to verify your Pro subscription status. This identifier does not reveal your identity, payment details, or any personal information.

5. Data Security

Since your session data is stored on-device, its security depends on your device's built-in security features (Face ID, passcode, etc.). We recommend keeping your iOS software updated to ensure the latest encryption standards provided by Apple.

6. Children's Privacy

StackWizard is intended for adult audiences only (18 or older, or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from anyone under the age of 18.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our app or applicable legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
